Summer Camp

2025 Summer Camp at Oak Hill Montessori Community School

Available for currently enrolled students ages 16 months old – Kindergarten (entering 1st grade next fall), Summer Camp at Oak Hill Montessori is a rich environment filled with exploration, creativity, and, of course, FUN!  Children will experience the wonder of summer through themed weeks filled with age-appropriate activities. Staffed by employees of Oak Hill Montessori Community School, we maintain a low adult to child ratio so that children receive personalized attention for a healthy balance of hands-on activities, social interactions, physical endeavors, and creative investigation.

Summer Hours

  • Before Camp Care 8:00 am-9:00 am

  • Summer Camp 9:00 am-4:00 pm

  • After Camp Care 4:00 pm-5:00 pm

Camp Dates

  • Week 1: June 16th-20th – No Camp Thursday, 6/19, in observance of Juneteenth

  • Week 2: June 23rd-27th

  • Week 3: June 30th-July 3rd  – No Camp Friday, 7/4, in observance of 4th of July

  • Week 4: July 7-11

  • Week 5: July 14-18

  • Week 6: July 21-25

  • Week 7: July 28- August 1st

  • Week 8: August 4th-8th

  • Week 9: August 11th-13th – No Camp Thursday and Friday

Weeks 1 and 3 – 4 days of camp

New Registration Process

In an effort to support families in confirming their summer childcare earlier, the camp enrollment and deposit process will change this year.  A condensed timeline and non-refundable deposit will allow us to honor requests earlier and also, hopefully, avoid a waitlist.

Should a waitlist situation arise during priority registration, priority will be given to students registered for 7 or more weeks of summer camp.

Priority Registration 

Through February 14th, 2025

Currently enrolled families may register using the link sent out via email/OHMCS News and Notes.

February 15th

Participants will receive an online invoice (via FACTs) to collect a $50 non-refundable deposit for each week of camp registration.

If applicable, waitlisted participants will be notified of their waitlist status.  With thoughtful planning, we are hopeful that this won’t be the case this year.

March 1st

Deposits due via FACTs online portal or check delivered to school.  This non-refundable deposit holds your enrollment in camp.

May 1st

Last day to make changes to summer camp enrollment.

Please note initial deposits are non-refundable.

After May 1st

Families will be responsible for the full camp tuition regardless of attendance.  Summer camp invoices will be sent May 15th (June Camp), June 15th (July Camp) and August 15th (August Camp).  Each month must be paid in full prior to your child participating in camp that month.

Registration After February 14th, 2025

Families may continue to register for camp or join the waitlist based on availability. Available dates will be published in the OHMCS News and Notes.

Before and After School Care is offered to families on a monthly contract basis.
